Hi Shirley, Have you seen this program and pad? apps.corel.com/promotions/wacom_pe3/index.html?itrkid=pe3up I enjoy digital art - You get results you can trust and depend on. It is really fun and I think that every artist would benefit from some version of a painter type program. It is quick and easier to complete a project compared to actual painting and there is much to learn in the process about your art style etc. (it is neater too! lol) These programs are definitely a fun and useful supplements and can become an art form if delved into deeply enough. Furthermore, some of these programs are now much more sophisticated.. it is no longer simply “press the watercolor button and poof, your whole photo is turned into a watercolor” ... too predictable and cookie cutter to end there. You still have that feature, but now they are offering a goodie bag of tools to tweak and edit that are easy to use. I find that in order to get away from the predictable look these filters offer you need to spend an hour or so with a piece - manipulating and tweaking... and when you are finished, it is quite satisfying. fun fun! cj
